I just wasted a month of my life.
I’ve been working on the software to present the storyworld to the user on a web page. I went through all sorts of difficulties with file formats, text layouts, images, and on and on. I was making slow progress, but had been stumped by a nasty problem and was spinning my wheels.
Whilst searching about some old code for a relevant bit of code, I stumbled upon some old stuff that did almost everything I needed done. I had solved most of the problems over two years ago! The old scheme isn’t as nicely laid out as the new scheme, but it works. It uses a combination of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
I swear, I’m going senile.
