Our memories are populated with iconic images of great events; we all have scores of photos that stick in our minds forever. Here is one of those iconic photos that will never leave my mind:
This photograph was taken by Chris Hondros in 2005, after the child’s parents had been mistakenly killed by American soldiers. Yesterday Hondros was killed by a mortar shell in the Libyan city of Misrata.
