Most of the time, the story flows in the order of the list of encounters in the left column. However, in some cases you might wish to have a tree of consequences, with different encounters appearing in response to different options chosen by the player-protagonist. This is how interactive fiction works; you can do the same thing here, but we caution you not to rely on branching for the primary content of your storyworld.
You implement branching by clicking on the popup menu adjacent to the label “Branching” in the center column. This popup menu will show you all of the encounters in your entire list; it can get rather long. Simply select the encounter to which you wish to branch in response to the option chosen by the player-protagonist.
