Sammy and his sister Sasha were abandoned by some ass on a curve on Felter Road in June of 1984. It took me half an hour to coax them out of their hidey-hole. Sasha outlived her brother by a few months. On December 15th, 1997 the vet told us that she had kidney failure and wouldn’t last until Christmas, but I kept her warm and thereby reduced her kidney load; she lasted until April 17th, 1998. She was a very sweet cat.
