I gave two mini-lectures here: the first, at the kickoff, was a quickie description of the world of games in 1988, when I founded the conference. The second, later that day, was an explanation of my design thinking for an imaginary game that could be played for 30 years. But the most fun came in the afternoon, when I met some people at the park nearby. We held a mini-symposium on interactive storytelling.
